Circus

In the busy street of the city,

There is a circus, all decorated with flowers so pretty.

There are jugglers, small and tall,

Who juggles till all the balls fall.

The Joker makes people laugh

Till their stomachs ache; what fun and racket they make!

The huge gray elephant performs tricks,

And everyone takes out their camera to take pics.

Dancers dance, and singers sing;

The circus is the best thing.

There is a silly farmer who’s proudly holding a rake;

What a beautiful evening the performers make.

It’s so funny, no one can believe,

It’s so exciting, no one wants to leave.

  1. What a fun poem!

    It instantly brought back memories of the excitement of visiting a circus as a child. The lively descriptions and rhyming lines make the whole scene come alive. Reading it felt like being part of the audience, watching all the performers and enjoying the festive atmosphere.

    Well done!
